Math Help Center
The Math Help Center (MHC) provides free tutoring for
all students in Math courses numbered 110 through
233. Students should drop in for help any time the MHC is
open. Undergraduate tutors, graduate students, and faculty
are here to help you learn. Although help is not
guaranteed on a drop-in basis for courses numbered above
233, we may be able to help you or at least refer you to
someone who can help.

The online help is live and is staffed by UNC grad
students and faculty instructors. To participate
and join a live help session you need to download a free
piece of software or be in an ITS computer lab on
campus.
Instructions and hours for online
help: If you are in a UNC Lab, there is an account
you need to create but it only takes a
minute:
click here if you are in an ITS Lab. Otherwise there
is a one-time download procedure to bring the live help
session to your laptop or desktop. Follow the directions
carefully at
Live Online Help and after just a few minutes of
setup you will be able to access the live help during any
of the hours listed. The software is called DyKnow and is
supported by UNC ITS.
The Math Help Center opens the
first day of classes and remains open until the last day
of classes. Please realize the MHC will not be open
on days that the University is closed.
Summer School Hours: Monday -
Thursday, 3pm - 5pm, starting the second day of classes
and running through the last day of classes.
Help vie email is available: Use the
following drop boxes. They are checked regularly.
