Julia sets of Weierstrass Elliptic P functions with
Toral Band Fatou Components
These are based on results of L. Koss and J. Hawkins
and the images here were created by M. Taylor.
A toral band Fatou component is a component of the
Fatou set of an elliptic function which
contains a generator of the torus. In this picture (above) we see two
fundamental
regions for a Weierstrass elliptic P function based on a real rectangular
lattice which is twice as long as it is high.
We zoom in on areas of interest in the next few images.
